A year ago we lost my dear niece Shelley. The past year has been such a troubled year, with many losses and challenges. But Shelley, always courageous and caring, would want us to go on and make most of the lives we are blessed to still have. I celebrate her life, and I try to honor her ever-positive perspective on life. As the young boy learns in this song by Michael Merchant, we need to live our lives every day.
